Bread Art
Bread Art is a food photography series created for a printed magazine editorial. The series presents several types of bread as artistic subjects. Colored paper and minimal props form a monochromatic setting for each image. Soft side lighting from studio strobes and a softbox creates gentle shadows and highlights. The lighting reveals the texture and the tactile quality of each loaf. Careful attention to detail conveys warmth and craftsmanship. The final images were prepared for print at 210 by 297 millimeters.
